Southern Utah University needed to communicate COVID-19 health related guidelines. With so much uncertainty and seriousness surrounding the issue, the tone for the communications needed to be clear and calming, while adding levity to the situation. An on-brand and consistent look and feel ensured the package felt authoritative and would reflect SUU’s organization and preparedness. The SUU style guide’s illustration style was the primary art direction, with line icons and illustrations with a mix of fills and strokes. The package consisted of digital screens, floor and window vinyl, posters, mask designs, photoshoots and a video to explain COVID guidelines. Photographers: Asher Swan and Derek Payne.
